Replace or recover rollers when grip is reduced, the urethane is hardened, cracked, missing, glazed, or worn down in the center, or when the folder can no longer hold consistent register at speed.
What does no downtime exchange mean?
Folder Rollers sends refurbished rollers first, so you can install them on your schedule. You then return the used rollers as reusable cores within the required return window.
Should I regrind rollers?
No. Regrinding removes metal and urethane, often leaves rollers undersized, and shortens useful life. Recovery replaces the urethane and keeps the roller closer to the intended function.
How long does recovery usually take?
Normal turnaround time on the shop floor is about one week. Exchange is the better option when downtime is the larger concern.
